Questions buyers typically ask about custom software.

Do you build on our stack or yours?

Yours, by default. If you already run on Laravel, .NET, Node, Java, React, Flutter, or anything mainstream, we’ll build inside that. We bring opinions on architecture and integration patterns but we don’t force a rewrite to suit ourselves.

Can you take over a system someone else built?

Often, yes. We start with a short technical assessment of the existing codebase, infrastructure, integrations, and operational state. The outcome is either a takeover plan, a modernization plan, or an honest recommendation to rebuild — whichever is right for the business.

What’s the typical timeline for a custom build?

3-9 months depending on scope, integration depth, and compliance requirements. Smaller scoped builds (e.g., a customer portal) can ship in 6-12 weeks. We scope each engagement against your specific architecture and constraints during discovery.

How does pricing work?

Custom builds are scoped during discovery and quoted as fixed-deliverable milestones — not open-ended T&M. You see the number before you sign. Operations engagements after go-live are typically monthly retainers based on scope.

What about mobile app store deployment?

Part of the engagement. We handle App Store and Play Store submissions, account setup if needed, and release management. Apps are typically released under your developer account; we’re the team behind the keyboard.

Who handles maintenance after launch?

By default, we do. Production support, monitoring, incident response, and ongoing improvements are part of the delivery model — not a separate contract. If you prefer to take maintenance in-house after stabilization, we hand off with full documentation and runbooks.
